The first house made of hemp has been built. In Ashville, North Carolina, a team of sub-contractors and designers have recently constructed a hemp house made of industrial hemp, lime and water called Hemcrete. Push Design, an Eco-friendly design and construction company, have plans to build more of these houses. This house offers strength, breath-ability, indoor air quality and two-pronged carbon appropriation elements.
